i was watching TV on military channel and a WW2 veteran said that " for every 6 bullets, a tracer round comes out". in AH, each round is a tracer. should this be fixed? or something? i dunno..

Umm, AH already has it modeled correctly. Try it yourself with a slow firing gun. Fire off one round at a time. Only every 5th round or so will be a tracer.
Or at least I think so. I may be going crazy, and it is possible that every round is a tracer. And since AH is being patched at the moment I can't go test it myself.

I don't think every bullet is a tracer and being the cynic that I am, don't think it's worthy of the time to fix it. Unless of course you won't be able to sleep unless it's fixed.

Who told you that? Inform him that he is very wrong.

Try firing the P-38's .50 cals one round at a time. All the rounds will appear as tracers.

No they don't. I just tested all 3 versions and only about every fifth round was a tracer. Several times though I would get a few tracers in a row, but they would be from different guns.
i.e. The left gun would fire a tracer, then the next round I fired would come from the right gun and would also be a tracer. It's just coincidental that both guns had a tracer round queued up as the next round in the belt.
