Only a select few American fighters are able to fly off the deck (corsairs).....When you try and up a TBM or any jap airplane, it says unable to fly

Other planes were disabled, 'cause there is a bug in new patch wich makes spawning some carrier planes impossible. They're working on it - at least that's what the Arena Message in LWB claims ;)

That's the reason, they spawn high and crash. I assume you could verify that offline.
