I thought I'd share a few pictures of some aircraft models I've done.
The first one is a 1/48th scale P-51 of the 78th FG. I did it a couple of years ago.
The second is an FW-190A painted to depict Hienz Baer Red-13 of JG1. Oberst Baer has always been my favorite fighter pilot. This model is an old campaigner having moved with me through three different locations in the past 14 years.
Both models were airbrushed with enamel paint. I'm finnally throwing in the old guy towel and switching to acrylic for any future progects.

Those are really nice! I wish mine would have survived my brothers. :furious I'd get back into it but i've dislocated both shoulders so many times any time i try to do something detailed my arms start to shake.

Rite on Shifty!!looks good pal.I have to do a 78th Mustang in the near future. They always impressed me.Thanks for taking the time to share your models with us!They look very nice.
I use acrylic paint.I actualy like them a lot.Seems easier to clean up.I use rubbing alcohol to thin them out and clean things up.

Thanks guys. Actually the FW-190 is missing the original wheels and tires. They fell off and were lost during my last move a couple of years ago. I got lazy one day and found a pre-painted FW-190F in Wal-Mart and tooks the wheels from it and JB-welded them to this model.
I should probably go get a add on kit and replace them, since the tires bug the hell out me everytime I look at them. Then again I've yet to have a model that I'm satified with once I'm done.
