Post by: fuzeman on April 13, 2007, 12:21:55 AM: Unless you want to jump right in, I'd suggest going offline and getting used to flight model and various game commands, etc.
After you do that then sign up for the two free week trial.
Just be aware very little work goes into the drones offline. They fly around with wings shot off and 'funny' stuff like that.
But remember, the work HTC doesn't put in offline they do put into the online stuff.

What was the name of that fake squad in AW, when Moggy and others pretended to be a squadron of people who had never played AW, but who were good at flight sims? They all had names from "Top Gun," fooled a lot of people until their identities were revealed at the con?

It would behoove you to visit the training arena, it will save you alot of fustration, and you might even learn a little bit. Then try offline, ... the main arena is tough if you are a new boot to the game. Folks in the main arena dont all wanna help a newb, but in the training arena they'll be glad to help. Also, practice gunnery in the training arena, i have a friend who could fly better than me, but when we fought he couldnt hit me if i was dead infront of him. Also, if im in the training arena, ill always give help to people, so i can give you some tips and tactics. Trainers are better, but I volunteer TM my time to new players alot, so they can fly with the best and still survive. So welcome to Aces High, The game that kicks other flight sims azzes.
