No Bombers?

A few squads have been doing some missions in the AvA the last few weeks, Bombers w/ escort and arranging  a squad or two to Intercept

which IMO can help the AvA become more popular, and is FUN!
but the last 2 set ups kind of hinder us from arranging that sorta thing.
oh well :confused:

The intent of this setup is to allow some plane types that don't get much play time in the AvA,  like the f4u-4, la7, yak-9u, and ta 152h.  Even though the Tempests and spit 16 would fall nicely into this category I think adding them would unbalance things to much... The Axis doesn't really have a good plane to counter them and adding the 262 doesn't really solve the problem, it only keeps things unbalanced but in favor of the axis..



The spit 14 is a possiblity....

Interesting stats, Soda!

Surprising to see that the La7 and Corsair didn't do better.  I tried the F4U-4 for the first time in years last night.  It was trickier to fly than I expected  (doesn't seem to fly at all like the other Corsairs - to me, at least), but it was enough to see what a monster it must be when you get used to it.  I think there were also a lot of people who didn't anticipate that the Spit14 is as difficult to fly as it is.

Thanks for figuring all this out, and for providing us with this setup.

I would suspect that the K4 showing is due in no small part to the competent cartoon plane usage demonstrated by those JG54 tards
