Click picture for details and mission updates!
This Sunday we are starting an eight frame campaign in the Mid War arena simulating the early days of the 8th Air Force bombing campaign over Germany. This will be a timeline based campaign with the aircraft set progressing as we fly the frames. Everyone is welcomed (squads especially), all we ask is that you be prepared to fly the correct aircraft for the frame and look up the team leader so they can get you situated on a mission. Although obviously on the honour system, this is a one life event for participants. More details will be posted on the HARM forum later today.
Campaign team leaders
American: Trukk (348th Bomber Squadron (http://www.78th.org))
German: TheBug (880 Squadron Fleet Air Arm (http://home.alltel.net/hensons/public_html/main.html))

Good run.
I managed to get 2 kills on B17s and 2 assists as well as wound a few others. Flew a 109G2 with extra 20mm on wings. I landed dead stick, oil was hit. Was fun. TheBug

Was great fun, glad you joined us Kermit
Big thanks to all the Luftwaffe pilots that joined the mission and to the Allied pilots for putting up a great fight.
Your time spent setting this up Trukk is very much appreciated!
Looking forward to next week.

I had alot of fun even though I managed to join the bomber mission just as it was launching, missed whatever briefing there was, etc. I managed to miss the right cue for the B24's to roll and took off with the 17 flight by mistake. Sorry for that... But I did manage to make at least 1 kill and 1 assist that I know of on the defenders. Kind of forget about reading the text messages in the heat of things. Whatever - great fun! I hope to be better prepared next time. Thanks to the organizers!

Allied side escort got hosed by ENY just prior to takeoff.
Ended up in Seafire's and Spit V's rather than the more appropriate/planned on Spit IX.

Kev,
I think yall did a fine job given the hand that was dealt. to your group sir.
Was a great run. The merge was absolutely terrifying to say the least, and the ensueing fight was hard and well fought out. Some very skillfull squads and pilots here. :)
