The old analogue version had keyboard problems for sure , but the new digital sticks a completely different animal.

214th Cavalier is right. The old analog version is terrible. Get one of the newer USB versions and you'll find a vast difference.

Yeah, my NE position is a little dodgy.  I found if you push it to that position from directly behind and a little below it works ok.  Their manufacturing standards leave a little to be desired.

A great site dealing with X36/35 issues is www.saitekhelp.com (http://www.saitekhelp.com)

Had the same problem (NE view) and called Saitek on it. They had me send it to them and had a NEW replacement back in 10 days. All it cost was the shipping to them, Not bad at all  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Question:
Has anyone gotten the X36/35 usb to run quirk free? Mine's sat on the shelf for more than a year cause I could never get it workin right with AW3. I tried it again this week, using RangerBob's profile and everything was peachy...for 3 days. Then the stick went nutz and began quitting out on me...leaving me only with Y and X axis control. The gear's back on the shelf again for a redusting.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)

Program your front left and front right views in the hat (little oval looking thing, doesn't look like a hat)on the throttle in front which your left fore finger touches. this way it's easier to view those views quickly without the hat trying to jump into the side or forward views instead. I don't use the RF LF in my 8way hat on the jstick.

Whenever my X36/35 goes nuts its because RW can't find whatever connection its looking for... cancelling RW solves problem... it would appear if some other program is waiting the buttons wouldn't work

Those of you using RangerBob's AH X36 profile please note:

1. Be sure the AH SGE profile has the auto configuration box checked.

2. Those 2 rotary dials on the X35 throttle must be returned to center postion when not in use.
