 GOT A SQUADI who needs help every time he trys to log on he gets this >> -9 mainWLD_FAILD-1.   <<<<< ANY IDEAS ?? IV NEVER HAD A PROBLUM WITH THIS ??  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

This is a new one to me.

I would check that he has a video card capable of running Direct 3D games.  Check that he has the latest official drivers for his card, and has at least Dirext X 7.0a or later.

I see this topic is very old but this was the only place on the web were I found (Google) the fail "-9 mainWLD_ FAILED-1" I hope some1 read this and let me know that problem could be solve because I'm exactly the same message when I'm trying to enter the game and I just can't log into it.

That message means the game executable cannot find its resources to run the game with.

A complete re-installation of the game will fix it.  No need to remove the game.  Just install over the top of the existing game and it will pick up all your configuration options.

Happened to me when 2.16 came out.  Re-install fixed 'er right up.
