Today on SMPizza, LWO I was not able to make landfall in LVT at A54. I was still moving in "boat mode" when the green texture was already indicating I were on land.
After a few hundred yards my LVT flipped over suddenly.
Other players had the same experience.
Also I did drive a T34 into water when I was still on flat geen land and about 400 yards away from the beach texture at V9 (19?) on Baltic map.

Also, one of the ports was inside the green, the beach tile covering the water.

I agree with Krusty:huh
The new terain has a great aerial view of nice sandy beaches. :aok
However, while traveling across, even grassy portions connected to beaches, you are likely to encounter quicksand and have to ditch.:(
Is there someway to insure the characteristic or hardness of the terain corresponds to color?
Even before the patch there were maps where traversing green terain was like a tractor pull..:lol
Please, give this some attention. The new graphics are awesome! The beach effect is very appealing and worth the effort HTC has put into it ( and I am not an eye candy enthusiast).
:noid Is it possible to code water effects only to tiles that are entirely sea colored, and land effects to tiles even if they only partially contain either land or sand colors?:noid
Ports and PTs a problem (maybe so). What do you think?
