Just today this began happening...
click on my AH screen shortcut and the start-up screen is a white void along with system freeze up. Do cntrl/alt/del and reboot. Try again...this time I get the front screen. When I hit "online" button I'm back to the desktop. What gives?

What programs did you install recently? Have you opened any e-mail attachments recently?

No e-mail attachments. I did get the geforce 2 utility tweak yesterday from guru3d.com.
I also d/l'd detonator 3 drivers for my Ge2GTS.
My Saitek x-36 dig has also been giving me trouble...button commands just quit in flight tho I still have x & y axis...2 minutes later it's fine. Went back to the trusty Sidewinder PP

Possible longshot, you might try deleting the video.cfg file in the aces high settings directory. What this will do is force AH to prompt you for screen resoluton and color depth upon next starting of AH.
It's also HIGHLY possible that the GF2 tweak utility has overclocked your video card memory or processor clock too high. This almost always results in a dump to desktop or lockup.

I never applied any of the overclock settings available on the GF2 tweak - only the generic "fast" set. Still, you don't get a 20% FR boost without some overclocking, eh?
OK, so I reset to pre-tweak conditions and will wait and see.
