Title: Seagoon Flies Again

After a six month hiatus not flying AH2, I was in the air for the first time last night. MAN I AM SO RUSTY I CREAKED. When I finally managed to get my Zeke behind some guy's Spit 16 and shoot his tail off, I finished up the glorious victory by augering before he hit the ground. I decided to call it a night after that. At this point I figure my ACM isn't up to anything more challenging than the old Atari 2600 barnstorming game.

Anyway, I'm wondering if any of the old FLYING ZOO are still flying AH2 - KBman Hawkeye, Frodo, etc. or if I should just go ahead and look to see if there is another squad that would accept such a sorry excuse for a pilot.

Also is it worth getting in a squad now or should one just wait for TOD?

I wonder about those guys every now and then and miss flying with them. Not flown in ages. Wonder whatever happened to those gents?

We sure had some good times even back in the old Warbirds days with the Flying Tigers.

I'm in Hannover, Germany at the moment but heading back to the states tomorrow.

I up every now and then. but ussually get swarmed ho'ed or just auger get mad and log. think it comes with old age and lack of patience

Rooks eh... hehe: any telltale signs its you if i look? Flying really close to heaven perhaps? :D J/K

You can do the bumpersticker version of proof or the long novel version. If its proof that god excists ill be listening and selling it to every major newspaper that will buy it. If you have that kind of evidence you will be very famous and i can tell everyone I know the guy who found the proof. :cool:

Well a few of us manage to get to our computers, with walkers and canes. Even manage a few sorties before falling asleep. :O)

Great to see you back seagoon. I knew you couldn't stay away for good. I suspect Kbman will be back one day also.

The only ones left that I know of, are hwkeye,killjoy, and myself. Kbman vanished over a year ago. I guess he still has an account, as the Flying Zoo is still listed.

Look us up when you are on, and we are still Rook. I am usually on between 7-10 pm cdt, hwkeye a little later in the evening, and killjoy later still. Damn time zones. :O)
