I've noticed quite a bit of graphic stuttering since the 2.10 update... it may have been caused by the Patch 1, they were so close together.
Lots of stuttering, seems worse when closer to the ground.
No drivers or other system installs have been done recently, so that rules out that. Also I use fsautostart to stop pretty much everything else when running AH.
Thanks,
Scott

Did you defrag your drive after patching? If not, you might try it.

Yup!

For some people a reinstall of the latest DirectX has cured their stutter probs.
DirectX was recently updated, so get the April Dx update and see if that helps.

To me that only alleviated some of the problems. It's still much worse than 2.9 was.

I get stutters when im low and close to busy airfeilds - i have updated directX too. Stuttering still happens occasionally.

Stuttering is very noticable when in a furball with more than 10 planes around. Definite impact to visibility and performance.
Am running a fast, clean machine, defraged just before the update. Problems started with the update. Couple that with contrast and depth perception issues, even with gamma and brightness adjustment, its getting very close to unplayable.

Definately having short "screen freezes" when ever I get close to some action - near an airport or in a fight. "stuttering" is another way to describe it. In my case, some of the stutters last for 1 to 2 seconds. This all started after the update.
