Well I love AH (only been playing a week), but it is a great Sim except for one bug. About every 30-40 minutes my entire system freezes and a looping sound continues to play. Everything dies...keyboard, stick, mouse ect. Whatever is the last sound played just loops over and over again. It wouldn't be so bad is this were a drop to desktop crash, but rebooting my whole system sucks to say the least. I have a Sb live value with the 2.0 drivers (heard there were problems with the 3.0 drivers), 3dfx v3000 no overclocked and a celeron 450. Any help would be appreciated. Also I am up to date in AH versions as I use the autoupdater. Thx and great sim!

Screen freeze has now happened 4 times tonight in about 2 hours of flying. Going to try and get sblive 3.0 drivers.

Jase disable agp support in your direct x setup.
I Assume you have a tnt2 card.

Well interesting. My sound blaster live has two sets of drivers that you can upgrade to. The "audio drivers" for win 95/98 date 11/99, and the "liveare 3.0 drivers". Not sure what the difference in the liveware vs audio drivers is, except that one is a 28 meg download vs the audio drivers being a 5 megger. I just downloaded the newest "audio drivers" and installed them. Flew for almost an hour with NO crashes. Keeping fingers crossed that will keep me fixed. So point taken is if you have a sblive audio card, get the latest audio drivers dated 11/99. You DONT have to upgrade to sb's liveware 3.0 if you have 2.0 or higher. Btw, I have a V3 3000 Hitech, and thx for the replies. Hope this helps anyone else with this crash problem.
