This happened back in January, and i had no idea.

I'm wondering why  there was no major media coverage?

Haveta check to see what was big in the news during that time period

Probably some other story the media found more interesting Like Imus or something for example.

Kinda like child abductions or say Scot Peterson murder case.

Of all the abductions and murders that go on evey day. the media is very selective at what they feel like making a nationa story
