Title: .r command problem
Post by: 68Hawk on April 23, 2007, 10:51:54 PM
I've noticed sometimes if someone has sent you two PMs since your last one and you use a .r command it will double send the message.

example:

Dude1: Hi
Dude2: Hows it going
Dude2: Wanna fly with me?
(Dude1 uses .r Sure, how bout 47s?)
Dude1: Sure, how bout 47s?
Dude1: Sure, how bout 47s?

That's because I think it makes you message yourself in some situations.

I noticed this too. Had 2 PM chats going, thought I was spamming both guys. Does only the sender see duplicates?

I've never received any duplicates, but I've sent them a couple times.

sent a reply tonight, without anyone tuned privately on any channel. no dupes. did you have anyone tuned on a text channel when you got the dupe messages? I did last night, but not tonight. hmmmm
