Title: Long time gone

I've been out of the Aces High loop for a couple of years and just noticed that a new version just came out.

How is the new version? What new planes/vehicles have come out lately? Are the USMC still flying? Any new maps out there?

same  old maps,the M4 firefly and the jeep have been added,the F4U-1A
is the only new planes,we should be geting the B25 in 2weeks :D .nothing much new same old junk

Stony The USMC are still flying, the squad split in a few directions a couple of years ago... Grim and a lot of us older USMC guys went to "GrimsReapers"

Ki84, a few new spits and 109s,  two new P-38's, a new P-47, a B-24...  And the Firefly and Corsair already mentioned have been added since oh, mid 2004 or so?  I probably forgot something else...

I don't know how long you've been gone, but if it's really been a few years, you'll have plenty of new things to play with :aok

If you've been gone years, the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT change has been to the airflow code.

EVERYTHING (repeat, EVERYTHING) handles differently. The airflow code must have been buggy as hell before, because after this "fix" the 109s stopped flopping like fish, the 190s stopped snap-stalling at 250mph, and several other aircraft gained a more "normal" stability.

New maps:
Karelia, Japan, winter rhine, bob updates, italy, midway soon to be released, new TA, KOTH map, PTO... pizza back, beta back, asw/detch has made a couple new MA terrains.

Oh, yes, buy yourself a Geforce 8800 and check out Karelia (you'll need it to not bog down your frames! :lol )

Japan is pretty cool, though the guy that made it is a total loser :t
