my vid driver is old im running 84.21 for my 6800ultra
should i update or "dont fix what aint broke"
specs
amd64 3200
asus a8vmx
2gigs corsair
250gig seagate
sblive sound
gf 6800ultra 256
no over clocking

I'm not skuzzy, but I AM a hardened veteran of the driver wars. :noid I've fought on the Nvidia and ATI fronts. In my experience, if you aren't having any problems, don't mess with it. If I had a nickel for every time I needlessly upgraded and immediately rolled back, I'd have about 25c ;)

Why would you want to change it? We already know the 9x.xx series has a lot of issues.

i just heard peeps saying that u must keep the latest version upto date
i guess this is just a myth?

Anymore, newer drivers are not neccessarily better drivers. The 61.77 drivers are still the best drivers for the 5000 series and older NVidia cards,as an example.
