...does the bbs, including archives take up?

Consider this, the thread itself is just a page, every thread on the board is the same page (showthread.php), same with each forum - just one page, the query after the thread page address (&threadis=202916) or forum address page (&forumid=12) tells the server which thread posts or forum details to collect from the database.
I own a forum with a larger active member base than this one (close to 100,000 members) which holds close to 10 million posts and it's just touching 10gb in database size and that includes many, many things external to just the basic forum. The actual forum pages on the server don't even come to 5mb even when the images are included. Neither of those numbers are even close to maxing the 2, 200gb hard-drives.
Scores pages are the same. They'll just be a table on a database and each player is just a row in that table. 5,000 rows in a database table is nothing.

Thanks TinmanX!
I asked this question in the O'Club awile back and got no answer. I figured it was an efficient process, but not that efficient.

So what’s your monthly bandwidth for that board?
What’s the filesize for a typical 100 post thread?
Do avatars take up a comparatively large space and bandwith?
-
I would estimate that about 1 Yottabyte has been consumed just on "Perk the La-7" - "HOing" - "ENY" threads.

Monthly I use between 210gb and 250gb.

Like I said, the thread is just a regular webpage, all the posts and such are held in a database so it isn't possible to make a file size calculation on a thread as they don't exist past when they are called from the database.

Not really. I use avatars on my board that are 58x58. They only have to load once and then they are stored in the visitors cache. Average avatar size = 5kb, we have about 200 different avatars, that's still only 1000kb. If every member were to clear their cache at the same time and then reload the icons, It'd use about 100gb of bandwidth, but that's not likely to happen.
