My 7800gs wont run AH..worked fine for a day now it locks up/encounters errors...can u recommend the best driver for the 7800 series?

SOunds like something else is going on, or you got a bad driver install.

I could probably tell more if I could see a DXDIAG output.

Installing a new driver over it might not fix it. You need to download a driver cleaner and clean out the old files, THEN install new drivers. That should fix it.

I think he's got a driver issue on the one PC. The other PC, he just missed patch 1.

Also having lockup and Frame rate problems. have had alot of lockups at night and with the last update my frame rate went from 75 with slides all to the left. now with them to the right I only get 10-30. I like this game but it's no fun playing like this and I'm on a fixed income now so can not upgrade my VC. have a 7900 GT OC now. some people tell me their FR went up with last update, find that hard to believe.

Major FPS problems lately... It's the patch, I think. Sitting in a tower with almost nothing showing on the screen the FPS will go from 60 to 20 for no reason then back up.

In a big fight it goes down to the teens.


HTC put out a patch a long time ago that specifically helped FPS issues, but I think they need to do another one, just for FPS. :D

Are you running with high resolution textures and did not install the new high resolution texture pack (http://downloads1.hitechcreations.com/AHHIRES2102.EXE) released for 2.10 Patch 2?

It would be useful if the game could discover this problem and tell the user.
