Title: Red Skins

Me new skins are coming in red although a couple did work.

I download the hi-res pack but didn't help.  I'm in 1280 x 1024 x 1024.  Did try the 512 but nadda.

Any suggestion ?

P.s I know this is the wrong forum but this one is quicker for replies.....Thanks in advance

Check the "download skins in the background" box in the hangar. They are red because they have not yet downloaded onto your computer.

Skins in red are ones that you still have to get.

2 options -
1) Enable background skins download from the hanger.
2) Goto the skins download on AH site and grab them one by one

The hi-res pack doesn't include skins as far as I am aware, just the textures for the game itself.
Thinking about it, it does include the default hi-res skin I believe.

Correct. The Hi-res includes 1024 for all default textures (fields, land, water, default planes) but each skin is already at 1024, so you don't need hi-res for that.

It's already checked.  I unchecked and checked it again...still coming in red.

Theres 90+ skins in this release Lynx, they only come down to you 1 at a time, so it takes a while.

If you aren't getting them at all -

Look in your main AH folder only -
Look for two files that are named like a current model but will have tmp in them somewhere.
Delete them.

An abnormal exit from AH can cause skins downloads to fail.
