I don't want to them one at a time, but would rather download all of them here at work.
-
No can do. There is no single download pack. Either download them one at a time, or do it in-game.
-
Darn.
Ok. Thanks.
-
Are they all on the skins download page? I don't want to grab all those and find out those are not the new ones.
-
All skins are there -- both new and old.
They are identified by the unit number (like "332nd FG/100 FS"), so you can make a manual list of either the ones you have, or the red ones you don't have, and then manually download.

in game so much easier
-
It'd be a PITA and timeconsuming, (but hey, you're at work ;) ) but just download them all into a folder, slap it on a disc, and take it with you.
-
cc in game works well for those with broadband. Dial up takes days or even weeks if your not flying much.
Thanks guys. I am grabbing em all off their list. One at a time, but it is moving along.
-
Okay, let's see... Just take the most recent...
There used to only be 11 109Es, so you take 12 and 13, see?
you need:
109F 5-7
109g14 4-6
109g2 4-9 (I think)
109g6 2-4
109k4 5-6
190a5 10
EDIT: finishing some of the list
A6m2 (rough guess, LOT of new ones) 6-13
Ar234 1-3
b17g 4-9
b24j 11-13
c202 2
c205 3-5
I think almost all of the F4Us are new, I won't list them...
f6f (guess) 11-13
sherman VC 1-2
HurrMk.Ia (guess) 5-9
HurrMk.IIc 4
Ki61 (guess) 9-12
Ki84 11-13
P47s I don't remember downloading any new ones, but maybe
P51s there were 1-2 files downloaded but I don't know which. Best to leave that for in-game-DL I think p51d_2.res was one of them.
There were some spits, but I can't be sure of all of them.
SpitV 9-11
SpitXVI 5-6
others I didn't look at
Ta152 2
You get those files, and you'll have most of them. The rest will be downloaded in-game, but you won't have to wait a few months because there's only the "odds and ends" left to download!
This is just a general list, to get you in the right area.

Agreed.

I did it the same way as krusty, with the skins folder opened, and kept checking for the highest number for each plane.
Downloaded them all to desktop, dragged them into the skins folder and i was done.
Maybe next time an * can be placed next to all the new skins to make it easier.
-
no reason they can not group them all togehter as well as group all the new released terrains together in a zip file so they all can be downloaded and installed at one time verses the game way or the 1 at a time way.......as well as let everyone have a choice to download em all or just let a person pick and choose....
unless it is cutting into their "game development time" :D
if the latter is the case, then I can understand why they will not do it in combined zipped download files......
-
I just grabbed the vf-31 skin and let the rest follow, but i am biased.
-
I could have swore that some of the skins were not numbered consecutively on the in-game d/l while I was watching them.
Also Daddog is on dialup so d/ling the skins would take forever and might interfere with game play.
-
Scotty, 2 p51s were swapped out for others, so those would be out of order.
Several other planes were already in-game but were resubmitted, and I didn't take note, but it might be that they were out of order because they were replacing lower numbers.
-
cc thanks krusty, that's what I thought... I didn't know if it was just being indiscriminate and d/ling all the skins or what.
It took about 3 hours on my end, and I've got cable. Of course I just logged in and walked away when I saw in your :noid thread that they'd been released.
-
The :noid wasn't mine! (*distances self from that thread*)
I downloaded a number of them manually because I didn't want to wait, but let the rest come in in-game. Took a bit more than an hour, and I'm also on cable.
-
I downloaded them all. One at a time  after work. Took a long time even on the T1.
I will ask forHIM and see if I can upload them to our squad server and allow others to grab them all at once.
-
Id like to see the full download return.
Picking one by one stinks...and Ive found the download-as-you-fly to be laggy.
-
Here's an Idea, can we FTP the files? Skuzzy?
Many cheap or free ftp progs will let you chose a directory or tag what you want for batch download.
-
Even a few simple options for downloads would be nice. I like that it's a lot simpler for the folks who have **** connections, or are only interested in a single skin or 2, but options to download, say, all the skins of a certain AF/unit/squadron/group etc, or all skins for a particular model would be nice.
