Title: Fast Flying

Now here is some really great FAST STUNT FLYERS (http://video.yahoo.com/video/play?vid=327685)  I think this was in Japan, and that the planes are the RV-8 and SU-27.



Side note:  The woman passed away last year doing what she loved best... Flying fast.  She left behind an understanding husband and teenage son.

Were they doing the demonstration in an auto racing stadium? Some of the flying passes there looked like they had to dodge the pylons then climb above the stands.  :O

dont know the woman, but the male pilot is Peter Besenyei from Hungary,
he is racing the Red Bull Air Races (http://www.redbullairrace.com/) with the Red Bull Team.
He won the last race in Abu Dhabi, UAE. and is 3rd in the World Series right now
In 5 days is the next race in Monument Valley. USA.

I doubt that  Svetlana Kapanina died. The planes are SU 31. It was in Japan in 2003 I think, the day after the video Alexander Krotov crashed leaving a spectacular picture, but survived.

Whoever she is... she's pretty attractive... of course sitting in an RV8 ups her significantly.  :eek:

That and the fact that she's obviously very good at what she does.

The chick is Svetlana Kapanina and I don't recall her in an accident.  Nancy Lynn died not terribly long ago flying an Extra 300 if I recall correctly.

Amazing flying and a great display.  Wish insurance companies in the U.S. would sign off on that kind of stuff :eek:

Than you very much for clarifying the womans name.  Nancy was indeed the pilot I was thinking of, and her son is continuing on in her tradtion... or so that rumor goes.
