I'm getting ready to reformat my hard drive, how do I save my bookmarks in both IE and Firefox?
-
In Firefox do the following...
Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > File > Export > Done.
In IE... pray! :D

IE 6 or 7 for w2k /xp should be in C:/ documents and settings/User named folder / favorites .

See if you can export them to a file that you can put on a cd. Then after the format and reinstallation of IE and firefox, import the file from the cd.

Instead of wasting a CD. unless you want to save said bookmarks forever.
Just Email em to yourself.
After you reformat. Download em and your good to go

Or you could just use a thumb drive then import them to IE. You might also just put them in a document and print it out.
