most russian bombers where obsolete, the russias focueds on support aircraft.

He was being sarcastic with this thread. The Tu-4 "Bull" was a 100% copy of the B-29 right down to the Boeing logo on the yoke. The Soviets didn't get them in the air until shortly after the war was over though.

The Soviets did however have some very capable bombers during the war.

I think the Tu-4 would be a smart addition to AH, we have far too few Russian bombers ingame, and it would do well at higher alts!

I'd hope they would add a real B29 rather than a knock-off though if they had the choice.

Only if they simulated the engine flame-outs and all the other unreliable stuff about that particular plane.

It could be VERY unbalancing.

we have enough russia planes, most people use the LAs. i think we should have 1 more italian plane.

i think we should have the:

Pe-8 (sucky engines)
Tu-2 (good combo with Il-2)
Yak-1/3
Lagg-3
Mig-3
and if we ever get Cold War version of AH- Tu-95:D
