You talk a lot of smack for someone that spends a lot of time hovering over fights waiting for a chance at an easy kill.
Sadly you missed me tonight, and then ran like a scalded dog when we met agian, but you still talk da poo...
I say you are like krusty.... lotsa poo and no words, ability, or facts that can move... unless that dung beetle comes along :lol

I remember a 1 on 10 I was in once and he did nothing but commentate over private text all through it, even as I roped him I got the PM: "You shouldn't have done that". As he ran out of E and stalled, I got: "You got lucky there, you were so dead.". As I nosed over and lined up on his flailing airframe, shot his tail, both wings and engine out, I got: "You're a noob with no skill. GFY."

And to be honest I think that sometimes the forum is a good place to call out bad behavior. Censure by the community can be a wonderful thing.

I often wonder when I see these "Bashing Ego Threads", what are you people like in real life. Are you the disgruntled employee, the father or mother teaching the next generation of pilots, lawyers, and doctors. If I cut you off on the freeway, would you right an article and send it to the local newspaper? Or forget it and move on with you day or life?

Well 5 point I try to play this game with some integrity. Also there are Alias (sp) personalities that are wrapped a little to tight in here. Names will not be mentioned. Point........Associating ones life with game personallity is kind of self defeating. This is suppose to be a place to escape everyday life for a little while and be someone else. No?

No... Any persona you take on is a reflection of yourself. If you pretend to hide behind anonymity (while telling folks what you do, where you work, and not really being anonymous at all) and then act like a griefer, a jackarse, a general SOB, then that must mean you have those qualities in you already. Society limits these things in a face-to-face environment, whether a person like this instigates violence with their actions and is punished (learning a lesson) or is sanctioned with loss of job, family, or jail time.
In here, there are no sanctions, other than a banning on the forums.
Which, again, it seems some folks are immune to, no matter what they do.

Ah very true Uberhun, and I salute you for playing with integrity, but I feel still that my in game personality is still very close to my real life personality.
For isnstance: If I crash into someones car I apologize if its my fault, if they crash into my I don't become angered to the point where I must smear their name through a public notice.
In the game, if I collide with someone, and I know it was my fault, I will offer a simple apology. If it was there fault, I will not call them every name in the book.
Example dark5tar and I were a very competitive turn battle the other night, both us were pulling everything we could to gain position on each other, ended up we both went verticle into half rolls. We ended up meeting prop to prop it what I imagine was a neat crash picture. We both apologized to each other and laughed at what a cruddy way to end the duel. But neither of us came out of it calling each other ace pilots or hotards. <> Dark5tar.

My squadmates know my name, as do my friends. Any random goober that's on this board? No thanks. Identity theft is already enough of a problem these days, I'd rather not increase it by posting my real name on a public bulletin board, especially one like this.

Yup, Truekill might want to read this. He takes on, per his own words, the persona of an arse because, and I quote, "all games need bad guys." I think he is just trying to cover the fact that, hie is indeed, an arse.

You see in the aviation world we have very little time or desire to be around those that stretch the truth or are "know-it-alls". Both of those types end up killing not only themself but other innocents who happen to be around.
As for knowing where I am in real life, just drive on down to the Colorado Springs Airport. I am on the NW side most days from 8AM till about 6 or 7PM in the hangars with the black and white checkerboard roofs. Ask for Derek.
Oh, one last thing, you can ***** all you like, I really do not care.

So he admits that he picks fights for no reason, backpedals when called on it, searches for years old threads, can't find anything, so brings up pathetic dredges to "justify" a recent fight?

EDIT: Funny thing, I've seen folks griping about having their sig lines moderated because they contained insults in them, yet Bodhi and his lacky flaunt a direct insult to me (from a long string of unmoderated insults to me, also funny thing) and suffers no moderation.
Funny how he can start an insult-flinging fight for over a week (with no justification) and then do this and STILL receives no rebuke...

First of all, despite Bronk's obsession and spinning it, my avatar was before either himself or Bodhi started any crap with me. It was a subtle reminder to HTC that we were still looking for a skin pack release (after 6 months or more). Similar to the thread that went on for 500 posts of bumping asking where the skin pack was, it was a reminder, not a suck-up.

no offence krusty, but i think you take it all a little too personally, just ignore the muppets, they're just trying to bait you, but at the same time, bronk/bodhi, it's starting to get real old.
you want to exchange insults start a thread or even a forum, but when every thread krusty posts in gets watermelon dumped on it, it goes well past funny, then well past tiresome. you're just doing it for the sake of it, not even in response to what krusty's said, get off his back guys ;)
before anyone gets banned, just give it a rest. if you guys don't like each other, fine, but keep it to yourselves, or atleast out of the public eye.

This is not about picking on Krusty.
It is about his enormous propensity to deveat from the truth, his refusal to admit he is wrong, and his outright spinning of the truth into a lie. Krusty loves it when he gets people to believe he is a victim, when in truth, he is the cause of all his problems.
When he can suck it up like a man, admit he is wrong, and stop exagerating and stretching the truth, then I will let it go. But, seeings that is about as likely to happen as Hillary and GW are gonna hook up, then I will continually point out where he distorts the facts and then attempts to spin his way out of it. :aok

1.) Bodhi is a wealth of knowledge topped only by Widewing, but neither FLAUNTS it like others do. Why? He restores WWII Aircraft.
2.) I am in the AoM's for Joint Operations, and 2142 Battlefield. I actually play along side kappa. good group of guys. The only Muppet that gives me attitude is Dano for some reason. I've never talked bad about him or anything.
3.) SR, kappa, Xargos, and the rest don't "bait". It is sarcasm laced with humor, which most people overreact to.
4.) I had a run-in with Bodhi when I first started this game and Derek was in "The Flying Circus" as "BodhiArm" (I'm probably one of the few that recall his first handle). But when he found out I was in NAZGUL, he immediately apologized, and has been a good friend ever since. Bodhi has gone through a ton of crap that most people would buckle from.

just to clarify, when i said muppets, i didn't mean the army of muppets, i meant muppets as in, well, someone being a muppet (english slang, kinda like tard i guess).
i enjoy bodhi's posts, when he's not pissing off my squaddies, and have had fun with bronk in the past. kinda hard to know what side of the fence i'm on here, but at the end of the day i'll back my squaddie any day of the week, so i thought i'd add my point that it's getting old...

The unwritten rules of Aces High
As with many games, over time some
unwritten rules establish them selves as
generally accepted behavior. These rules
are not cast in concrete but are a good
guideline on how one conducts himself.
Some rules take into account "real" life happenings while playing the game
while others are pretty much accepted by the population of online players for
ingame issues.
First are the accepted unwritten rules for real life issues:
1. When nature calls, announcing on Channel One "Pee Break" and ones
location is accepted as a "timeout". Time may vary but that pilot is
considered offlimits for that time period.
2. When the beer is empty, announcing on Channel One "Beers Empty"
results in the same timeout with the additional requirement of grabbing
beer for anyone that want's it.
3. Wife ack. No explanation is necessary. No time limit is imposed.
4. Pet interference: dependent on the nature of intrusion and resultant outcome as it effects participation.
Accepted unwritten rules for ingame issues:
1. In a base vultching situation the first to call "dibs" goes to the front of the
line. When mulitple pilots call dibs at the same time, a coin flip will decide
who is first. Taking cuts is frowned upon.
2. Wiping the goo from ones air screen is an official timeout if it has been
announced on Channel One. Time may vary dependent on the amount of
goo present. Multiple kills=more goo. evaluated on a per kill basis.
3.Anyone that bails and opens his chute above 600 feet AGL shall be shot in their chute. The resultant whining on Channel One will be replied with the comment "Your Momma"
4. Political discussions, whining about getting killed, ANYTHING in CAPS
on Channel One shall result in the offender becoming a labeled "tard" and
shall be shunned by those present.
5. The talking of "smack" is reviewed on a case by case basis. Good smack
is a pleasure to read. Badly written smack reflects on the poster more than the recipient. So good sentence structure and a clear thought processes are required so as not to percieved as a "tard". Talking good
smack is akin to walking a mine field. The liabilities out way the benifits.
Unwritten rules really are a way of life. They are not hard and fast rules, but rules that have been accepted over time. Think of it as a step up into the world of Aces High. Now go out and have some fun !!
