Title: I see why birds smash themselves on Windows
Post by: EsX_Raptor on May 09, 2007, 08:11:55 AM
I think planes should have recognizable windows and not just these crystal clear things that when shot, create bullet holes on them which then makes you be more aware that there is indeed a window there. Maybe some scratches, debris and things like that could be done on them for a better effect :)

Just my opinion.

EDIT: dunno if this has been suggested before.

If your cockpit glass gets hit there is a visible hole.

Yea, I know that but without any hit on the window... to me... there\'s nothing there =S

EDIT: That\'s why I suggested any markings on the windows.

I like this suggestion, but it would have to not be too extreme, thus limiting visibility.  I do agree that without it being hit it's as if there is nothing there.

Right now you guys have the best view in all direction "while not looking at the sun"

What you want, would be like adding a "film" on the window,it would darken..obstruct and make things harder to see and track.

would make flying low hard.

I wish i had some pictures of operation flashpoints windows.
one word, hell.

Enjoy what you have.
