When posting missions people have to talk in vox, as well as text in order to relay orders for missions
It would be benificial to allow people to write up simple plain text on what a mission should be as well as allow the waypoints for the mission be still displayed in the map area when flying the mission
i know that there is still the advantage of usage of missions being posted to be able to contain no text as opposed to the old mission editor.
I feel that it would benifit the missions as well as people flying the missions to be able to briefly read what the mission is for and altitude as well as other types of things.
Not only that, but there should be a way for pilots and users to have their own type of text clipboard in the cliboard area to take their own notes on things such as Squad Channels, Squad members, and other such information.
There are alot of times that I myself have had to exit out or Alt Tab or look for a piece of paper to find frequencies as well as my squad members.
So the wish list is as follows
Mission Clipboard Oriented
Text function to describe the mission and goals
Access to Field Maps for pilots while in a mission to that base relevant photo of 10,000 ft to be able to ascertain where certain objects are.
Target Base option, to target the base or town of an enemy and display that in the mission instead of just taking off
Pilots Clipboard to write text into on the clipboard that can be seen while in a mission as well as in flight.
In other words a simple note pad on the clipboard to keep notes in.

LTCClark, Good ideas.
In the meantime, you can try a few of these hints to make your mission experience a little more like the 'good old days'.
As you are probably painfully aware, any mission posted will delete itself 2 minutes after the start time. To get around this, within the first two minutes of launch, edit the mission and change the launch time to somewhere in the future. Remember, you can build, edit, delete, and join missions while in flight, so even if your current mission gets 'smurfed', go ahead and use the mission editor to build a new one.
Also, you are allowed to post multilple missions, so you can, in fact, specify a mission with waypoints and such for.. say a flank attack vs. a straight on diversionary raid, with pilots joining the mission fitting their assignment. The drawback here, of course, is that the mission text channel would only apply to those in your specific mission.
Good luck!
