Anyone know of any free sites that have good sources for fly-in and eat destinations? I've got jack watermelon to do tomorrow and could go for a good meal

The restaurant at Milwaukee Timmerman serves a great 32 oz porterhouse.

3O8 Harris Ranch in CA. Great steaks, 2800x30 feet with gravel on the sides.

Never seen a $100 hamburger. I HAVE seen one for $40 at one of my favourite restaurants....Kobe Beef Hamburger. I have never ordered it out of principle but the last time I was there my guest did and it looked really really good. I may give 'er a whirl next time.

lol, Curval... it's not really the hamburger that costs $100. :)

hehe
I didn't read the thread properly. You get a ride in a plane AND a hamburger for $100. That's a good deal. It won't be Kobe though I assume. :(

There was just an article about this in the Washington Post last week... I'll see if I can dig it up... :aok
-
Catalina Island has the best $100 buffalo burgers on the planet.

Cav, now that I know you're in CT... there used to be a great place to fly in and eat at the Tanner-Hiller airport (8B5), ~10 mi SW of Worcester.
Did a quick check online, it seems to still be there.
Block Island's always a fun trip, with several restaurants near the field.
-
You guys have missed the point of what Cav was looking for.
A) a hundred-hundred dollar hamburger
or
B) $100 worth of dollar hamburgers
Given his tender age, I'm leaning towards B.
White Castle anyone?
Oh man, I'm so f**king wasted....

HAHAHAHAHAHA DIABLO.

Well, I actually DID try the $40 Kobe burger at lunch yesterday.
Not doing that again. Totally unimpressed. It was better than McDonalds but nowhere near worth $40.

Next time you fly to Miami... (http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=2101974&CMP=OTC-RSSFeeds0312)
I'd go for the Catalina trip... For a short time only, all the buffalo now come to the restaurant precooked.

Yea, in my area there is a $40 kobe bryant beef burger too. Even if this place was good I doubt i'd even try it, however, this place sucks....It's a chitty burger stand openeded up by a dude who owns a terrible pizza place, who realized he could make alot of money doing so.

those are the cattle which are treated well, groomed, run free, worshipped until it is time for slaughter, makes the beef perfect?

They're also fed beer, I believe.
