Just ordered this 7600GS (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130076) vid card, and I'm curious to know if there's a particular driver which works best for this card.
Did a quick search, didn't get any hits, so I thought I'd ask around here, since I know a few folks are running this series of card.
Thanks in advance for the input.

84.66 seems to be the best for 7600GT users (myself included). Can't be that much different for the 7600GS users.

Warning hub...for my PNY 7600 GS 512MB card to work I had to download coolbit.reg and go into the nvidia display and change it to 4x. AH kept freezing on me within a few minutes until I changed it. From what I see though is that it went back to 8x and it works fine.
Take a look here.

I myself use the 84.66.

Correction - only of the 7600GT is the PCIe version. The AGP version won't work with 84.66. Period.
The 7600GS AGP, which is what you have there, is an older card than the GT, and will probably work with 84.66, so give it a try.
If it doesn't, let us know. I have a 90-something that works just great with my 7600GT AGP.

I have a 7600GS AGP and 84.66 works fine.

Looked on the Nvidia site, saw only an 84.63. Followed the link in your thread, working on that dl from 3dguru for the 84.66 now. Hopefully my card shows up tomorrow and I'll be in business without any drama.

What don't you understand?
84.66 does NOT work on the AGP version of the 7600GT. It DOES work on the PCIe version.
The 7600GS, being older, than the 7600GT, probably does work with 84.66.

Sorry, I didn't know if you had meant to say "only 1 of the 7600GTs is the PCI-E version", or "only if", and I didn't see the relevance of the latter since the card in question is neither PCI-E or a GT.
