MTO (Sicily / Italy) July '43 to September '43 - I trying to get an idea of the ratio of P-40s / Kittyhawks in relation to other aircraft like the P-38, Spitfires etc...
What I have so far is:
1st FG - P-38
82nd FG - P-38
14th FG - P-38
325th FG - P-40
33rd FG - P-40
81st FG - P-40
325th FG - P-40
57th FG - P-40
79th FG - P-40

Mediterranean & Southern Front 1943. Vol II (PDF) (http://www.4jg53.org/myimages/misc/medsouth_vol2_1943.pdf)
Scroll to July - August - September 1943 and read the entries under 'Jafü Sizilien' - 'Jafü Süd-Italien' - 'Jafü Ober-Italien'.
The above .pdf was compiled by Tony Woods:
Tony Wood's Combat Claims & Casualties Lists (http://www.lesbutler.ip3.co.uk/tony/tonywood.htm)
Obviously P-40s were doing a lot in July and early August (Husky). If anyone has any useful data please post it...
TIA

You have the Spits from the previous Spit IX question as I gave you all the MTO Spit squadrons including the USAAF ones.
Kittyhawks from the same Order of Battle July 1943. Totals out to 22 Squadrons of Kittyhawk/Warhawks
5 Squadron SAAF (Kittyhawks)
3 RAAF (Kittyhawks)
112 (Kittyhawks)
250 (Kittyhawks)
260 (Kittyhawks)
450 RAAF (Kittyhawks)
57th, 79th FGs USAAF 6 Squadrons (Merlin engined Warhawks)
33rd, 324th FG USAA 6 Squadrons (Merlin engined Warhawks)
325th FG 3 Squadrons (Merlin engined Warhawks)
11/5 French (Warhawks)

The 38 Groups you have are correct. Obviously you are talking about 12 Squadrons total of P38F/Gs
350th FG had three squadrons of P39s.
81st FG had 2 Squadrons of P39s
27th FG, 86th FG had 6 squadrons of Allison Mustangs (A36/P51)
111th Tac Recon Squadron Allison P51s
I count 21 Squadrons of Hurricanes on that 1943 MTO order of Battle too

Maybe we could save all this for the next time Husky is run. ;)
You doing an IL-2 scenario Bruno?

Maybe we could save all this for the next time Husky is run.
Now that you mention that I had no Idea Husky was next up for AH - until I began searching the forums...
I am putting together an Orbat for an Il-2 'on line war'. I am an Admin for the Il-2 on line campaign Forgotten Skies (http://www.forgottenskies.com/)
The server handles 150 players and our numbers per mission are around 70-75 the last mission:
74 players were in this mission, flying in a total of 167 planes.
These run 90 minutes - 3 missions per week - Sunday, Tuesday, Friday at 21:20 EST (-5 UTC 21:20 New York Time). Right now we are in Phase 1 'April / May '42 - Malta' - 15 missions . Phase 2 will be July - Sept 43 - 20 missions. Phase 3 will be Phase 3 - February 1944 25 missions.
