I've been here a couple of months.  I'm pretty good with a B-17.  Dogfighting even fair is a skill that is going to take me awhile to attain.  

In the B-17 to get alligned up on the target half a sector out I thought up a neat way to hold my nose view looking out over the bombadier's position.  I take a half inch universal-joint socket and set it on my number pad numeral 8 key.  The nature of the u-joint socket I can adjust the weight off-center to balance it over the key.  The half inch square female end fits nicely over the numeral 8 key pad on my Dell keyboard.  This same trick also does nicely to hold the 8 key down when I have it setup to look over the nose for carrier landings.  I thought the idea to be original, maybe somebody here can benefit by it.

I want to thank you guys for your archive here.  I rarely ask questions, I just do searches and read.  

Like one guy I met here said, "I 'm so addicted to this game, I dream about it!"  LOL!

That sounds good, but maybe I'm missing something. Why not just press the key with your finger?

I believe the comment was meant to help other new folks that are being to learn to bomb.

While his idea might not work for everyone, if he helps one other soul then it's a good thing.

Note: if you're really drunk and flying in the MA and I shoot you down then it's all good since you won't even notice until you pick yourself off the floor. :D

I think the guy should use whatever it takes to accomplish his goal within the rules.
