No need to apologize over this game when your wife is in the hospital.
Let this go and worry about her. I hope she's better soon, my thoughts are with both of you.
-
Hope you & your wife get better soon.
You should have had a squaddie be prepared because of the way you plan and of the possibility of you having to leave or not show up for the frame.
I'm just stating the obvious.
Anyways, we worked with what we had and it was a bad plan. Stuff happens beyond our control all the time.
Good luck with your recent events. Doobs

Yes. Yes you are, I was prepared to take over as CiC in the event of doobs having to leave, or not being able to be there. But my internet connection went out shortly after doobs left.
Im going to refrain from saying anything about the 'bad' plan.

Dude....WTF over?????? He had to take his wife to the ER and then they had to admit her to the hospital over night. They don't do that for kicks and grins.
Yeah you stated the obvious, but it's in bad taste considering the circumstances for Doobs absence. He hardly EVER misses an FSO and he always has his stuff squared away when he's there.
A simple, Hey we understand and hope everything turns out OK, would have been more appropriate.
-
Bad form to publicly say 'Bad Plan' regardless of the reason really... In this case a little extra bad.
Calling something a bad plan on your squad vox is one thing, but doing it in here is pure foolish - because when the CiC drops in your squad next time, you better believe you're going to be under a lot of scrutiny to perform like a magician, Kermit.
Doobs, I hope everything is ok over there. Sorry that is happening to ya.
-
Well if it were my wife I'd tell all of yas to go *&^% yerselves!!
Seriously when something in real life happens, everyone of you become a name in a make believe world. I'd expect the same from you. Its nice if you have the time to give a shout that you cant make it or whatever, but real life doesnt always give ya that.
Hope shes ok Doobs.
With that said......Operation Downfall baby! :P

Hoping for a speedy recovery with your wife doobs.

It was a dynamic plan. He was probably going to adjust accordingly. I'm sure it would have turned out to be a great plan. Some plans are good and some are bad regardless of the outcome. Is the word "bad" politically incorrect? The forum should be used to talk about the good and "not good" ideas.

Kermit,
I've known you for a while now, and flown with you several times. I know your comments are not meant to be insensitive. You gave Doobs your best wishes, and offered a comment on "the plan". Your comments were maybe a little ill timed, and could have been worded a little better.
Just an FYI guys. I talked to Kermit the night after FSO in the MA, To get an idea of what had happened on the allied side. I informed him of Doobs situation, and he was very concerned. I think he was (is) a little frustrated that no one was able (or willing) to pick up the ball and run with it.
But last night was a very rare situation, that we has FSO players don't have to deal with to often. As a matter of fact, I don't think this situation has happened before.
Sometimes this is going to happen. We are real people that have real lives, and there are going to be times when something is going to happen to one of us, and it may have a trickle down effect to the rest of us.
Keep us informed Doobs.

Hope all turns out well for you and yours Doobs.
