Scott check the thread "frame Rate" on this forum they are talking about your card there:(
-
Souless, I don't think that thread helps him in any way.
The only way that thread would help him was if he was trying to run it on a 25" HD-TV connection. If he's got a basic computer monitor, he should be all set. Also, it wouldn't give him ERRORS, it would just give him crappy FPS.
He's got explicit PC-crashing errors here. It's a totally different subject.
Scott, you don't need the latest drivers. In fact they probably will give you problems. Try 61.77 drivers for this card. If that doesn't help you can try 84.66 as well.
If you keep getting errors, give us the top portion of your dxdiag report that includes video, sound, networking, but cuts out all the gobbledy gook below that. Just give us the hardware section. (This usually ends with the sound card, so cut out the stuff after that)

When I ran one of those old cards, I think I was using the 28.xx drivers, and the best was a non oem driver from Omega. I'm pretty sure it was the 28.32 driver.
Krusty is correct, the newer drivers are nothing but trouble with the older cards.
A search of this forum MAY lead to a thread with the best drivers for an older card listed.

Look in the tech support forum, and search there as well. The posts and threads will be 2-3 years old or more.

PCI is self throttling. Does your MB have on-board video as well?
-
Yes it does.
-
Umm, the 6200 comes in 2 flavours, AGP & PCI-E.
You've definately not put a PCI-E card in a PCI slot have you?
-
They are not compatible, you cannot do such a thing, from what I've heard.
FYI: They do have them in PCI.
There's 2 separate versions on newegg alone.
Newegg search link (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010380048+1069609642+106790703&Subcategory=48&description=&Ntk=&srchInDesc=)

Incorrect

Make sure you disable the on-board video. If you can't do this from BIOS, then do it from device manager.
See what happens then.
