Nice pics :)

What is the paint scheme on the F16?  Is that a logo, or just for fun?  Or is it a legitimate paint scheme for breaking up angles and making the plane hard to recongnize?

Hi thanks i use the Nikon D50 with a 70-300MM 4,0~5,6G Nikkor

I used iso 200 with aperture mode F9~11 it was a grey weather and the glass leaves alot to wish for especialy at 300MM.

But photshop helps alot :)

The F16 is from the dutch solo display team

Wow, great shots.  For some reason they look like really good paintings/drawings…?  Perhaps it’s that the backgrounds are so flat like paper?

I really like the first one. The rings of the afterburner contrast well with the "fluffy" smoke.

Though it does seem that the plane should be moving faster with that attitude. Was it altered?

Nice...! :aok

Wish I had my camera at work the other day.  Thunderbirds were making practice runs up the Potomac river slightyly bellow my office hight.  Had a great, if too close view of the Diamond and Missing Man formations before everyone in the office crowded me out of the way.

With Ronald Reagan National Airport so close, jet's rattling windows is not uncommon in the DC area...  Fighter jet doing so is.  Last time I heard fighters that near the office was 9-11-01.  Have to say that this time, the view and circumstances were much better. :aok
