Was in a furball over the Sea at least 10 mins flight to dry land, (No CV's were present) was shot down by Vanscrew, 15 seconds after the kill before I could even get off the runway with new plane, Vanscrew landed his kills... it happened on 5/23/07 between 8:30 and 8:40 pm eastern time in the Blue arena. I would very much like an explanation to this, as I have heard of it happening more and more the longer I play. Im sorry if this makes me a complainer, but I just want a fair game for all and I feel what happened isnt fair for all.

Seeing as you were in a furball, it is very possible that Vanscrew put a bunch of rounds in your plane then went RTB. Someone else came along and finished you off, getting an assist and giving Vanscrew a freebee just before he ended the mission. It happens quite frequently.
He may not have caused any critical damage, but it is quantity of hits that gets the kill, not quality.

i have had him do the same thing 2 me.

I had the very same thought Auger, but I recorded the furball, and when I looked at the footage, it was in fact Vanscrew who got the final shot on me... then when I re-uped I lost his plane in the film, so I cant say how he landed so quickly, but Im not exagerating when I tell you it was within 30 seconds after killing me. Im not saying he cheats, Im just saying if this is a glitch in the game design and Vans has figured it out, then it needs to be corrected I believe.
I am not calling anyone a cheat, it was a clean kill Vanscrew made without a doubt, and dieing is nothing new to me lol, I just cant figure how the kills he had were landed so quickly when we were over the water smack dab in the middle of the rook base and the Bish base, I went back and did a dive from that point where I died, I took a P51d from 20k (we were about 3k when I was killed) from 20k it took 4 mins to RTB then 1 more to slow down and land it.

Whoever does the most damage gets the kill, even if they've left the scene and are several sectors away.
I was going to say my guess is, but it's not even a guess, someone hit you long before you went down and that person was Vanscrew. Someone else finished you off and, as stated above, they got an assist.
[EDIT] I was typing this as you posted above. If that's the case send the film in to HTC with an explanation of what happened. This isn't the place to air it.

I disagree.. I don't think he is calling anyone out, and since this is a possible bug, sharing it with others on the board could call attention to it's existence to others who may have not noticed. By doing that, more people may pay attention and see if it happens to them. If it does, action may be taken based on the findings. The more people that send in films, the more data can be gathered to diagnose the problem. The post is all about improving the game and I see no issue with that.
I think one of the reasons the post may exist also is HTC doesn’t respond to emails about bugs or possible exploitations. I have sent in some and never received so much as a acknowledgement. I know some will say there are reasons for this, but I would appreciate a response to my question. Even a “Nope, nothings wrong, xxx situations exists for yyy reason.” or “Thank you for your film, we have addressed the issue.” would give me the warm and fuzzys that the company values my input. I don’t need to know what they did, only that my issue was addressed. For all I know, my email went to the junk folder and was never even read. It’s called customer service.

maybe there was a enemy CV (friendly to him) that you didn't see. Or what auger posted...only things I can think of.

I am 100% for it. I've sent in many emails about bugs. I believe I got one back saying I was wrong. Of course I was ok with being wrong...but that is beside the point.

If you are the type that becomes known as the guy who claims to have seen a new bug every week, well, maybe your emails are being deleted before being read.

Last night I was flying over a bish base. I dived down on the field that had been deacked only the maned ack was up & took my wing off. I hit bail as my spit crashed expecting a killed by message only to instantly end up back in the tower with 3 kill.
So theres probly a bug, cause thats the seconed time its happened to me in 3 weeks. Must be something to do with bailing as you hit the deck as both times I was low & tried to bail as the plane crahed.

As Ive said, Im NOT calling Vanscrew a cheat, so there is nothing for him to defend, and there is no witch hunt, as for the video I have it is inconclusive since when the kills were landed I was on the runway and too far from Vanscrew to see how the kills were landed. Perhaps its like Airbull said, and Vanscrew bailed and got the kills landed and has no idea how, but none the less it sounds like a glitch in the system to me... And Kermit... I have no idea what you were trying to say there....
Bottom line here is, Im out to have fun, I pay good money just like the rest of you do. Aces High is a great game, and as for cheats I cant honestly say I havent seen ANY like 99.9% of other online games. But Ive never played a single game that didnt have its "glitches" and I just wanted to know if it was a commonly known glitch or what.... So lets have fun, sorry to Vanscrew if you feel Ive drug you through any mud that wasnt my intent.

I have a film with an example not too far from this.
I was flying along, minding my own business, taking pictures for National Geographic's 'Sheep of the World' issue 20 miles from the nearest friendly base, when some villainous bastage shot my wings off. Hit eject three times fast, hit my end sortie button, and in bright YELLOW lights:
Puck landed 2 kills in a F4U-1
Go figure. I **KNOW** I didn't do anything that would hack a packet.
Oh, and yes, my end sortie went through the game about the same time the ground went through my brain. The score registered the death, but I also got the perks for a landing.

What I was trying to say was towards spikesssss.
Like the little boy who cried wolf.
;)
Preston1, I'll assume you thought I was talking to you and not to the person who posted previously to my earlier post.:D

It's really very simple.
The kill is awarded to whoever does the most damage to you.. NOT who actually did you in.
So vanscrew put a few rounds in you... then broke off and went to land.
Someone else came along and finished you off, but since vanscrew did more actual "damage" (as far as amount of ammo hits) he's the one who got awarded the kill...
so likely vanscrew was touching down on the runway at the time you were actually killed.
Make sense?

Read the post's further down, he said he recorded the flight and it was vanscrew who put the kill shot into him
