I have a CH FighterStick (USB) that I bought last fall. Some times it seems to be loosing the "pull back climb" input. I can put a full deflection on it and either it slightly pulls of or nothing, then it will just jump to that position. It seems to go away if I recalibrate in AH.
Any suggestions as to what might be wrong?

mine will do that occasionally, usually because i haven't calibrated in a while. i just recalibrate and go.

Citabria had even worse problems until Michael from CH Products suggested he try a powered USB hub.

What they say... What they say... The powered USB hub is the way to go with CH USB equipment! I also have to calibrate my Fighterstick every time I enter AH. I do NOT use the CH control manager at all and all my stuff is mapped via AH's internal mapping. I also use the "Belkin" powered USB port but there are others out there.
All the Best...

Ah but it just started doing it after 5 months of use...

Could also be dirty pots. That sounds SO...nevermind.
The symptom is consistent with noisy output. If you sit and watch the output numbers in the configuration menu do they bounce around?

It could be a dirty or failing pot. Run the calibration routine and see if it calibrates OK. If not, it's probably time to RMA it to CH.
You also may want to check your AH settings and make sure your scaling, damping and deadband didn't get all out of whack.
