If you have a long path to the file such as...
D:\Program Files\World Machine\Terrains\New Terrain Experiments\outfe.bmp
the TE either chokes and won't let you browse to the import or it doesn't read the full path.
I had to clear impexp.cfg more than once already to be able to import elevations.
