Seems to be the new thing about a certain o~type squad.
Shoot them down, on they come on personal vox and whine/taunt/complain.
I thought cross-side vox wasnt allowed?
Myself and a few others got this from the same "large city in Texas" and former TV Show, ahem, person, all night.
Anyone else getting this sorta crap?
(Yes its been reported, just wondering how many people are seeing this kinda thing)

That's standard procedure for oDALLASo. It's become a running joke of sorts. Surprised HTC hasn't removed his comm privs by now.

Those tardlets have been doing that forever, at first it was just text pm's though. The funny thing is they smack talk even worse than they fly(if thats even possible).

I actually "bounced" a sleepy oDallaso's Ta 152 at one point, everyone in range told me he'd be on vox shortly.
So, got tape running, nothing.
Bah. Was hoping for some highlights.

..such hypocrisy around here!
not intended to hijack, but on occasion I will voxx tune an obvious first day noob and tell him in a military type voice "Sgt. So and So, please report to HQ and see the Commander" (they think it's the computer/AI talkin)
things get even funnier after that, but i dont want to incriminate myself further
Tuning someone to insult or whine is a big no-no as far im concerned

Dallas is a good joker.
Hes done it to me several times. I think after awhile he gets used to getting owned and gets more respectful. On the last one he apologised after his outburst and called me the man.

1) I don't tune private vox outside of country with the exception of newbies needing set up help.
2) If I feel the need to dig at someone it's on 200.
3) Just not my style.
4) To hear me sing is to look into the face of Medusa. You just wouldn't survive my vogon flat tone:rofl

I have to admit that I find the PM vox and text to be very amusing. Does this make me twisted?
I'm guilty of a whine now and then but I do it on 200.. it's a long struggle but I'm trying to stop! Is there a 12 step program? :D

I dont think I have to tell you who THIS (http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/4/24/1013733/oDALLASo.mp3) is. I was off goon hunting and flew right past about five fighters and found thier little C47 on the deck. Dove in and poped it. oYOUKNOWWHOo came in and did a poor job of B&Zing. He then ran away when he lost E. I came upon a niki and Ki84, and here comes a high dora. Again he did a poor job of B&Zing while I was geting killed by the niki. I roll again and find a co-alt dora. I run him down and he ran into a tree trying to wiggle around so I wouldnt hit him. What I recorded was what he said.

LOL TK, I chased him otd one day till he finally stick stirred into a tree. When he started whining I asked him why he was PM'ing me and not the tree that killed him.

a few months ago just after i joined the blind bats i ho'd a 190.
30 secs later some guy came on and started ranted that "next time u better get some alt". this went on for 3-4 mins at least.
i spoke on vox to a couple of squad members and said that some geezer was going off on one on vox, i didnt say who!!!! the 1st reply was " i bet thats dallas.he done the same to me a few weeks ago".
im fairly new to the game and i think im just about avarage pilot, still got a shed load to learn so im finding the game very frustrating at times and more than once a day i think "sod it ive had enough of the game" (i keep coming back for more though:confused: ).
now the last thing i need is some pratt coming on vox and having a go cuz i got lucky( or he was stupid).im having a hard enough time to learn the game as it is.now if u get a new player just starting out and he gets the same treatment whats the chances of him/her saying "f**k it. im not playing this with people like that".
now the way i see it at best what he is doing is intimidation and at worst verbal abuse. niether is acceptable in my opinion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In prison we call people like that Wolfers, but when we roll on them they cry like little babies. Most of the Wolfers I've seen are in for sex crimes, the lowest form of life in a prison.

Just ignore them (him), or reply to his PMs on ch200. You will get plenty of support cause i think most are pretty fed up with this kind of behavior from sertain players. I think most of his kills must be of jeeps cause i havent heard of anyone actually getting shot down by him in the air, but plenty try to chase him down after he has failed at the initial HO.

The whole squad is worthless, cuz they all do it. Only good one in that squad, skills and personality was Archaius which is just so happens that he left them dweebs few days/weeks ago.
But here's the bigger question.. which is the better compliment: Being called a cheater, and being PM'd after killin someone and hear their cryin?? :)

Actually I haven't heard any bad remarks from oRYNOo (I think that's the name?).
We were fighting in KoTH and he was a pretty good stick as well.

yip yip same here in Texas, we call them Cell Warriors, beating and banging and yelling, Roll the door and the quietly sit down, close the door they start up and or start flooding the runs with their toilet water.

One of the last prisons I worked on with my old company (they did the electronic stuff), the toilets have solenoids interlocked via PLC programming which prevents them from being flushed more than once every few minutes, and the whole pod can only flush a few toilets in any given space of time. On top of that, the pod control can disable said toilets from the touchscreen (Doesnt stop the dipchits from stuffing sheets in toilet, but it makes the desired outcome--flooding, a lot harder):rofl

i try very hard not to whine on 200, but i have been known to talk crap to runners, or nme that i feel are lame.
last night i was outside nme base by myself, i got 3 killz nonvulches, a bunch start uppin so now there is more then i can kill, i try my best to take out as many as i can, i snap roll a ho shot, kill this guy. he PM's me says im a loser, i suk whatever, i just lol on 200:lol

Was funny seeing two of them talk watermelon to RedTop last night. Even funnier seeing them give "advice" on how to fight, considering these guys have yet to see a 1v1 fight they didn't run from.

I can honestly say I have never had a person tune to my vox after a kill and complain to me, not that it doen't happen I just have not had it happen to me. Usually it is an exchange of
or "good fight" or some form of casual to semi sarchastic banter. I find it best not to fly mad, so if someone does get my dander up I usually switch arenas or go afk till I can relax. But hey that is just me. :p

Whats kind of funny is....these guys were coming in with alt and numbers every time. It was about 2 to 1 at least. So , we were having a time. I had been hoed at least 2 times a run. SO I finally just started hoing back every time I was up. Personally I hate ho's...but when outnumberd like that and getting em most runs , its all bets are off. Ya never know until the fight is done who hoed ya or what.
AFter filling a few faces with some 20mm and the numbers got back to semi even I quit. I got picked a couple of times and decided to take off and grab a bit.....Then when the tables are turned and I shot a few down I became picktard.....:lol
Fight the numbers....best way ya can and with the HO bascially in retaliation and get picked by those guys. Turn the tables and fight thier way and get called a pick tard....:lol
Was definatly a no win for me that morning.

Next time somebody Pm vox's you just play one of those random movie quotes snipits that people use to do prank phone calls, and play that in the background.

I definately agree that the "loudmouths" tend to be far more belligerent to names they don't recognize than those they do. In my first 6 weeks or so here I was subjected to several PM rants and one oMoron0 VOX rant.
Since then, it's been all quiet.
It definately made me feel that AH is an unfriendly place - I'm a veteran flight sim player (7 years) and not terribly thin skinned - but I was beginning to feel uncomfortable with the tirades.
I think that the PM/VOX nonsense should be eliminated by a toggle that prevents cross country coms, which defaults to off for new players. A game that eats it's own young -which is what this one does when it harasses new players, especially those new to the genre - decreases it's own revenue stream and it's chances of survival.
One of the few areas where I feel that HTC takes a stupid risk is letting a few loud egos potentially "ruin" a new player's enjoyment of a what may have been a monumental achievement for them.

This game is no different from the real world...
There are nice folks and there are bad folks.
The only difference in this game is that there is a "police" force that does weed out the bad....eventually.

68ROX, you miss the whole point which is ...
The newer pilots - who may be just getting started at online combat sims - shouldn't have to "police" the community in the first place! (And neither should the rest of us, really.)
Maybe HTC needs to add a disclaimer to the terms and conditions similar to the following:
Air to air combat sims are a highly egotistical endeavor for many players, and by engaging in this activity you accept that you may be verbally abused and harassed by other players. If you don't feel that such abuse and harassment by other players is acceptable, then you should not play Aces High.
I'm just saying that it would be much better if there was a toggle disabling cross-country comms which is on by default, which would render the entire issue moot to begin with. It's just dumb, because forcing cross country comms on everyone adds nothing to the game and potentially costs the game players.

I agree.. It's bad enough to have one of your own team mates (chess peices) rant at you on personal VOX because you questioned his CV management. It happened once, and with my higher rank when I challenged his decision he got personal. Calls me a newb etc...

I had a guy PM Vox me swearing up a storm one night so I squelched him and vox .reported him. Then he PM'd me on text swearing up a storm so I text .reported him. Then he continued his tirade on 200.
We had met with ~1500 feet of vertical seperation, 190 vs 190 and as he passed under me I dove for the deflection shot which he claimed was a HO even though I could see the full top profile of his plane.
We've met a few times since with no incident.
That's the only time anyone's ever PM'd me, text or vox other than in a friendly way.

Sad but true, left after a month, couldnt stand his brother, who was more an stunninghunk then anyone else I ever met. Did learn a little about bombing though. Cant remember the fellows name, but we used to go up in Lancs for hours. Oh well, Dallas is a moma;s boy. I think they were spoiled or something. I used to bomb with oYANKEEo too, hes a kewl dood. Havent seen him on much lately though.

if i ever send a PM after dieing it's all in good humour ask Agent bout B3YK as i am now. or i use it to send a warning bout very bad warping wich i video .
a bit of cross country banter is always fun. plus i can keep up with "serenity , raynolds " an verious others i used to fly with .

Sadly, no rants from oDALLASo afterwards. But I did notice that the oISUCKo squadron packed up bags and moved to the other side of the map and fought the Rookies for the rest of the night.

i got an oDallaso berating last week.
upped an iL2 from a field with dead fh's, see a 190 diving towards me, blasted it in the face.
2 seconds later i hear in my headphones.. " way to go newb, soon you'll get some skills and won't have to HO"
Funny stuff.. really, i was laughing for about 5 minutes afterwords.
