We do that everyday for 15 bucks a month.

Does anyone recognize the sim that that's based upon?
-
Runways look like IL2
-
It is indeed IL2. I was talking more about the double cockpits with the display on the wall than I was their little "business". Could really care less about that.
Cockpits are sweet though.
:aok

More specifically Pacific Fighters. Not IL2 but by the same people.

If they're running a business with those simpits I'm not really impressed. It would be cool for a home hobyier though.
I've got plans drawn up for way neater simpits, just depends on how much one wants to spend. Let me know if anyone wants one built.

Pacific Fighters is an expansion pack of IL-2. It can be installed standalone or as an expansion to the Forgotten Battles/Ace Expansion Pack combo.
You can now get all the IL-2 games in one as Il-2 Sturmovik 1946.

68Hawk - I'll take one :D I don't care what anyone says, its still cool. I'll take a set of plans - shipping a completed simpit would cost too much.
-
Only problem is you need an entire room dedicated to it!
And, what if you want to play something else? I'd feel pretty silly playing Portal in that setup (if Portal is ever released, I mean).
-
Ok, so my plans aren't actually complete, but considerations like shipping and space in a room are being accounted for.
I'm also trying to make it modular, so that different instrument panels or configurations can be installed. Some people don't want to spend too much. Some people want a second screen for use with MS Flight Sim or other supporting programs. Some people want real working instruments to plug into an EPIC card. I will be able to cater to all, someday.
Wait'll you see my ejection seats. I'll recommend installing equipped units on the roof.
Marketing question: If you saw a paintball turret at an airshow or something would you drop $10 for a run?
