(Reuters) Upon leaving her last show on "The View" Rosie O'Donnell was slain by a young assassin. He was quoted as saying "It took 5 shots to bring that Biyotch down and it was still running its jawls for 10 more minutes."
Film at 11:00.

O’DONNELL: …… I just want to say something. 655,000 Iraqi civilians are dead. Who are the terrorists?
HASSELBECK: Who are the terrorists?
O’DONNELL: 655,000 Iraqis — I’m saying you have to look, we invaded –
HASSELBECK: Wait, who are you calling terrorists now? Americans?
O’DONNELL: I’m saying if you were in Iraq, and the other country, the United States, the richest in the world, invaded your country and killed 655,000 of your citizens, what would you call us?
HASSELBECK: Are we killing their citizens or are their people also killing their citizens?
O’DONNELL: We’re invading a sovereign nation, occupying a country against the U.N.
I guess its more fun to cherry pick part of a quote and run with it than it is to use reason to discuss it. Sad really what we have become in terms of "an informed electorate".

I watched the excerpt from "The View" in which Rosie was complaining about Elizabeth not coming to her defense when she was accused of calling Americans terrorists. It seems pretty obvious that's exactly what she was doing from your quote. What lying coward she has become.

Now way you cant takie it as calling our soldiers terrorists.
thats what she is calling them any way you care to slice it.
HASSELBECK: Are we killing their citizens or are their people also killing their citizens?
Intersting to note how Rosie tried to change the course of the arguement with her next line
and somehow I dont think we killed all 650K

So MT, are you saying our United States has killed 655,000 innocent Iraqis since we invaded Iraq? Is that what you are saying?
MT, are you accusing US troops of being the terrorists?

whats this about the UN? against the UN?

good GOD Rip... I just ate, for pitty sake! :O :huh :furious

:O :noid
*OMG, I think I'm gonna puke at that image!*
=====================
Personaly opinion: Dred's a flaming idiot... and MT was just showing what it was that got Rosie fired.
The USA did not kill nearly three quarters of a million civilians in Iraq, or any other theater of operation. Look to the radicals for that body count, and if you doubt that, then just read the headlines where day after day it is:
35 civilians killed by road side...
Suicide Bomber in market place kills 17 women, children...
3 soldiers and 22 civilians killed during funeral procession...

The fetishes some of you people have for goofy celebrities is a strange pastime.

Id like to know the amount of civilians, true civilians mind you, that have been killed by American invasion forces. My definition of a civilian is a noncombatant. Id venture to say its far less than 5,000. I think we have done a stand up job for decerning a combatant (who deserve to die) and mom/pop family types in the wrong place.
All the military forces around the world. No matter what you have done your job and duties in a patriotic fashion for that I am thankful.

For some people no matter what happens or who does it, if there is anything bad associated to it, the USA is to blame.

This has nothing to do with Canada or the US, John. Just take step back, take a look at what started this thread and how it progressed. I would be hard pressed to find a better example of collective retardation on the interweb.

And you are a very important component of that collective retardation.

O’DONNELL: , occupying a country against the U.N.
At least she had something uplifting and positive to say.
-
I agree that much of the electorate is uninformed. If O'Donnell actually believes that U.S. forces have killed 655,000 Iraqi civilians then she needs a keeper to help her cross the highway.
Such blind, unreasoning hatred is frightening. Yet, to her way of thinking, it is fully justified by the "evil" emanating from the White House. Rose don't need no stinkin' war to hate Bush. Her vilification of the man began as early as 2000.
Can you imagine what would happen to Constitutional liberty if she and those of similar mind were in control of the reins of power? George Orwell's vision of a future where right thinking and right speaking are enforced by the government would, at last, become a reality.
