I've noticed your intake is properly sized, positioned, and looks pretty dang cool to boot. I'm really having a tough time with mine as it keeps getting stretched over the leading edge of the wing. Any advice?

The first few pixels of the leading edge of the wing top and bottom are stretched IIRC. Over this portion its important the lines on the actual bmp are purely horizontal or they will look smudged on the skin.
The outer rim of the vent is a rounded rectangle skewed a few degrees. Half of this box was moved to the upper and half to the lower wing panel. The vent itself is the same thing but smaller and filled with black. I would have used the viewer and trial and error to get the position of the upper and lower halves matched.
Couldn't you just paste one of my default skins into yours as a layer and use it to get the vent position and shape right?

First, thanks for the help. Second, I couldn't pick up enough of it on the lower res default skins to be accurate, but I'll try that and use your techniques described above. I think part of my problem was not realizing how big it would be on the bitmap. I was making it a good bit too small...
Thanks again.

Thanks. I was using the default D-11 skin, and it doesn't show very well. I pulled up the D-40 default and it showed up much better. PM sent...
