Make damn sure you really want it.

I got one when I was 18, and now, my tastes are far different than back then...  Removal costs without horrific scaring are pretty steep if you decide you do not like it later on....

Adding to my collection. Got the outline of a pretty large tat to round out a sleeve on the right arm about three days ago. From wrist to above the elbow wrapping around and blending with the tats that are on now. We are going to do the shading today or tommorow if possible. Hope we have time.
The wife says if I go before her she is going to have my skin tanned and mounted on the wall there is so much cash invested in it. :rofl

getting a tattoo shows you are a individual, apart from the crowd, different, just like all the other people that have tattoos.

I can't go any where and not see people that don't have them, i think it's lost some of it's individuality.

Actually, I think that it has lost some of its stigma as opposed to individuality.

Except for Tribal Arm Bands.

I have some that are 30 years old.   they are not like anything today.   I have never regretted it and they are a part of me..  more importantly...  they remind me of who I was.   I can't con myself with them things looking at me in the mirror.

When I got em.. not many people had em.   fewer had em like mine.   I have had only one in the last decade and that was to cover some stuff that was a little over the top biker wise and very old.

I got mine and made sure that a shirt would cover em back then...  It has been fun through the years watching the expression of women who seen em for the first time.    Even today..  with all the tats on every 12 year old woman...  mine are different.   Mostly faded but the one needle intricate stuff is still apparent.  Every bikers tats looked jailhouse back then cause the guys who did em for you learned in prison.

Anyway.. no regrets.   Just an old friend looking at me in the mirror and a reminder...   I laugh out loud sometimes over the whole thing... seriously.. I do.
