Who's got the oldest 'Registered' date in thier personal info column on the left?
I'll start off with November 1999, of course.
-
Mine was July 2000 until the infamous BBS outage of March 2001 reset the avatar clocks.
Oh the humanity.
Seven years. Bloody hell has it been that long?
-
well I know it aint mine, Ive seen alot older dates
-
I am not the oldest either. ;)
-
Drex at July of '99 is the oldest I could find quickly.
And he still sucks.
;)
-
December 99 ,with some hiatus I was a victim of the BBS crash too :D
-
:) Compared to some of you I feel like a newbie
-
Got me beat, my first day online was Jan 1, 2000. I didn't find the message board until later.
-
Original account was October of 01...remember surfing it watching films of Drex shooting down Spits in P47s before the AW influx. Inspired me to fly the P47 from then on.
-
I had to walk 7 miles to school in snow with no shoes.
-
Not quite but over 5 years now
-
Let's see... I think I first registered about the middle of 1999. To begin with I thought this thread was about who was the oldest player. I'm one of those though probably not the oldest. Just 60 right now until November.

Did you knot start a thread asking about this 'Tunguska'-like event last a while back?
-
i don't think so. (88 wonders if he is referring to the early 20th century blast over russia by unknown source...but is too lazy at moment to look up)
i did start a thread once which asked who the old farts were here...sort of like this one. a subsequent response provoked me to ask what had happened.
obsession?
(shrugs)
i just wonder why some made it over the counter and others got reset. hmmmm...
(scribble) *note to self...boy that diablo seems to be obsessin on me...maybe i should stop wearing my axe cologne to the o'club.* (scribble)

I had to walk 10 miles to and from school uphill both ways- in the snow- wearing shorts- and a t-shirt- with no shoes, all this while fighting off grizzly bears with my loose leaf notebook! ;)
-
This oldness is fine, but Oldest is going into an Atari computer store and buying a $5 shareware floppy disk with something on it called Air Warrior (What's that?) played on something called a modem (What's that?) over local long distance phone lines ($6 hour Air Warrior + $8 hour local local distance, only $14 an hour!) to a company that sold computing time in the evening hours when its computers weren't being used so much (GEnie, what's that?).
Really well designed stick planes. Play like it's a P-51 or Focke-Wulf.
Them's the Pioneering Days, newbies.

Why cry about being 30? 30's a great age. It ain't like you're old yet.:)
