Cut short by snow lol.
We headed out Saturday to hit a trail in the Sierras called Pardoes trail.

It is about 3 hours west of the bay area.
This is a shot of the lake you pass on the way in. Oddly none of the maps have the name of the lake.

Some of the trail was like this but what we got to was pretty easy.

It was very pretty but not very hard.

The reason it wasnt hard is the harder sections were still under snow and the Rangers have not opened the gates yet.

The jeep was a bit down on power at this alt

this would have been a nice place to camp.

Was a fun trip, not very many people around, and about 75 to 80 the whole day. I was suprised there was still snow considering how little it snowed this year lol.
Only my third time EVER seeing snow.
