I only saw him on Letterman, never on his show. I did watch another show on the local PBS station called "Experiments in Physics" or something like that, hosted by a crazy haired mad professor. That show got me grounded more than once.

Well, I am old enough to remember his original show.(barely). I would never miss it.
I still remember how to break a ruler with a single sheet of newspaper.

NOOO!!!!!!
I watched that show every morning at 5:30 before I went to school
:(
-
I remember seeing him on 3-2-1 CONTACT!
-
I'm 40 and I have no memory of him whatsoever.

AWW man I remember watching his shows all the time. I learned how to make a cannon out of paper cups that could fire a ping pong ball, and other stuff. like an old tennis ball baffle gun.
he was a cool guy, and made science "fun" for the under 12 crowd. he had to be the precursor to all those kid hosted shows now, and that "science guy"
<> RIP Don, you will be missed.
 :(
