Title: Older People
Post by: Daubie on June 13, 2007, 03:19:02 PM
Hi,

(I realize I'm asking for it, especially posting here  {;^)

Seems to me the membership AHII is mostly the younger guys under age 35.

What are the statistic counts by decade increments of the membership?

I'm mid fifties.

Think the rough average is about a decade younger than you. :D

It varies with season. Also the squeaking two-weekers are a lot more vocal than the older folks (yes, I know there are some exceptions).
I would guess im comparison to other online-games, our average age is still quite high.

There was a thread several years back, and I was suprised to see how old most players (at least those on the bbs responding) were. I would venture mid 30s-40s as an average, with plenty of squeakers and some old farts as well.

Come September, the average age will shoot back up, but I would think it's around 15 for the next few months.

I'd haveto agree just based on the voices I hear over Vox
They sound like they range from around 25-50 with the occasional teenybopper and 12 year old.

Those are typically pretty easy to recognise as they are usually the hyper ones that can never ask for something (if they ask even often its more like an order) less then 20 times before someone finally tells them to STFU LOL

LOL, I just turned 54yo.... And I still Race motorcycles.... I just love the look on the Kiddies faces, when they get whipped by a geezer... Sooo funny..

Of course, there is a downside... It takes much longer to heal when something gets broken...

If you don't crash occasionally, then you aren't riding fast enough....

Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention... "Riding a Harley, is like having sex with a Fat woman"!!!!

And if you don't die or at least break every bone in your body, you're not riding fast enough.

But remember what Benjamin Franklin ( Man who is known to have been with  once said

"Having intercourse with a large woman is just as good and often superiour  then a thin woman...And they are so much more grateful." ;)

I'm 22  and have 7 years of virtual flying experience.

You should marry a fat tattooed lady. You will have shade in the summer, heat in the winter and moving pictures all year round

OG in those 7 years.  I've sailed over half the globe,  dropped out of uni after 6 months of getting out too much to do the sailing.

I have a long term G/F so i get action on tap without being married(less wife ack) .Now I work in I.T and just bought myself a fast car.  If my mid life crisis is at 22 Bring on retirement at 30  :aok

don't assume just because I enjoy flying cartoon planes I'm as sad as some.  ;)
