We need a additional mapping choice in "Joystick Mapping" menu to put the Radio away without having to mouse click the cursor into the radio text bar, then hitting while engaged.
Mapping the joystick buttons within the game offers no way to program a button to do this, so as a result, keystrokes simply print in the text bar instead of performing the desired function. By then, you're dead.
As an alternate, I believe the "H" keystroke is unused at present.
Could this be used (or re-assigned) to close the radio regardless of where the cusor is, without inadvertantly broadcasting any alpha/numeric characters ?
This would, of course. require also using or or so that "H" key would remain available for text messages.
Thanks,

H = mouse hold

What is "mouse hold" ??
Don't be distracted by the 3rd paragraph that relates to the "H" key.
The real question is in the 1st and 2nd paragraphs.
Thx

Yes - it's a little annoying to have to click in the radio and hit enter to make it disappear. A single key to bring up and put away the radio would be much better. Just like the map works escape to bring up escape to put away...
