We need coherent sentences as well.
As for why the P-38J doesn't have dive flaps, it's because I believe the P-38J we have in game is a P-38J-15 which didn't have the dive flaps.

P-38J-25 and the P-38L/M series were the only P-38s to have dive flaps. The J model we have as pointed out in the previous thread is a J-15, which does not have the dive flaps. Does this answer your questions?
Just a hint before asking a question...do not ask them while drunk as it makes it hard to understand what you're asking.

maybe it's because i'm jacked up on redline but i actually read it the first time and understood the question. :D

The P-38L does have dive flaps, as do some of the P-47D models. The P-47N does not have them because they were removed to make room for fuel tanks in the wings. The P-38J-25-Lo is identical to the P-38L series in AH because the -30 Allison engines and their higher HP are not modeled due to USAAC restrictions. So the P-38J we have is a P-38J-10-Lo or a P-38J-15-Lo, neither of which left the factory with dive flaps, although some were retrofitted in the field.

Next time you're in a P-38L do this to find out if they do have dive flaps.
Before you start you dive, open your canopy using Alt+F4 and gingerly unbuckle yourself (don't roll as you'll fall out of the plane). Engage the dive flaps. Next, stand up but be sure to make sure you've got goggles on and keep your mouth closed (bugs flying in your mouth is gross). It's going to be a little windy, so you might want to dress appropriately. Now, lift one leg out of the cockpit and set it on the wing. Do the same for the next leg. Now you're standing on your wing. Gently lower yourself so you're crawling on all fours and shimmy to the leading edge of the wing. Now remember you're in a high speed dive so hold onto something firm or you'll be blown off the wing. Now, look under the wing and you should see this little flap thingy deployed under the wing. Those are the dive flaps on the P-38L.
In all seriousness, you're a clueless squeaker so of course you're not going to know that you need to disengage combat trim or the dive flaps won't work properly.

Are you sure? Why don't you go in and make sure and then come back and tell me. If it isn't Alt+F4 then it is definitely Enter pressed 3 times.

I think ack-ack has shot me down multiple times, but I still like his sense of humor

It is? Oh my, I must really update my list of AH commands. If it's not Alt+F4 or Enter 3x, then by process of elimination it must be Ctrl+Alt+Del 3 times.

how long till he figures that out?? he might need to ask his mommy on that one...
