Title: Won't start up

I've had this prob. on and off for a while. Sometimes when I click the AH shortcut icon the screen turns white for a split second than goes back to desktop. A reboot normally fixes it, but no luck today......Any suggestions?

Nevermind,
 I had my soundcard diabled to use usb headset without the headset pluged in for whatever reason Ah won't boot without sound...

 I feel like I'm talking to myself

The game does require a functioning DirectX (DirectSound) compatible sound card.
