The message I got out of the winkler case was simple. In a Tennessee jury's eyes, alleged kinky sex is a death sentence offense, no trial needed. Killing the other participant in the alleged kinky sex act is a misdemeanor.

An old WWII pilot featured on the 'Dogfights' series on TDC says that he's worth exactly one ten pound bag of rice. That's what the natives traded him for after he got shotdown and swam to their island.
These days that bag of rice can cost as much as $75 depending on what kind of rice it is.
These days with gold tooth fillings, recycleable pacemakers, titanium replacement joints and donated organs, the human body is worth more than it has since man walked this earth some 6,000 yea....mmm, hundreds of thousands of years.
